Ongoing and current community collaborations include:
Support for the creation and development of the 2025-2030 Lane County Community Health Improvement Plan
Fiscal sponsorship and support for the Friends of the Warren Daugherty Aquatic Center, an advocacy group for community pool programs including exercise classes, swim lessons, independent lap swim and exercise, and family recreation.
Cottage Grove Shared Growth Initiative: a community-led effort that brings community voices together to identify the needs of local business owners, identify shared priorities, and develop practical strategies for community growth.
Support and fiscal sponsorship for South Valley Farmers Market and the Sprouts Booth including collaboration with Cottage Grove High School students to create and develop multilingual multimedia guides for food programs and access in South Lane.
Continued sustainable growth and expansion for South Valley Athletics through partnerships with other recreational organizations, South Lane School District, PeaceHealth, Woodard Family Foundation, United Way of Lane County, the City of Cottage Grove, and the YARG Family Foundation.
South Lane and North Douglas Literacy Initiatives in partnership with school districts, Early Learning & Family Resource Centers, Family Relief Nurseries, local child care centers, libraries, and Children’s Institute.
Continued engagement with the PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Community Hospital Community Needs Committee to help guide the community benefit process.
Other initiatives related to improving social determinants of health including food security, transportation, access to quality health care including dental and behavioral health, child care, work, emergency and disaster readiness and resiliency, and other factors.
